Why Experience Matters

I don’t always agree with David Brooks.  Most of the time I don’t, in fact.  But he is a Republican writer I respect because he usually seems to think for himself.  In today’s NY Times Op-Ed piece, he all but endorses Obama.

“Sarah Palin has not been engaged in national issues, does not have a repertoire of historic patterns and, like President Bush, she seems to compensate for her lack of experience with brashness and excessive decisiveness.”
